Aldi has launched some new craft goodies
Aldi’s craft special buys are brilliant for snapping up some bargain craft supplies for your next creative project. So we're very excited that Aldi is releasing some new goodies, including Christmas craft kits.
With autumn here, there’s never been a better time to hunker down with a new craft project, whether that’s picking up a knitting pattern or trying to master a different craft skill.
From fat quarters to yarns, craft kits and even sewing machines, it has everything a crafting enthusiast needs, whether you are a seasoned pro – or a novice who is looking to start a new hobby.
You can find a whole array of craft kits, including crochet and jewellery making, as well as newly added Christmas wreath kits and paint-your-own festive figures.
And it’s available to buy online now, or you can pick up items during your regular supermarket shop.
In true Aldi style, the collection is super affordable. Here are a few highlights to look out for now.
Fat Quarters
Fat quarters are great for a whole range of sewing projects, such as patchwork quilts, and Aldi has a great range. We love this five-pack of festive prints for Christmas projects.
Yarn
Knitters can stash up at Aldi with bundles of yarn that are often sold in multipacks. You can now pick up this 16-pack of 50g DK yarn in muted winter tones that'll come in for a whole range of projects (online only). Or if you want to knit a hat, preorder a pompom hat yarn pack – and a pompom scarf yarn to boot.
Wreath kits
If you want to make your own Christmas wreath, Aldi is launching an adorable pompom wreath kit for under a tenner. Included is a metal frame, yarn, pompom makers and a ribbon. For those wanting something more traditional, the store is also selling a felt wreath kit for the same price.
Paint your own Christmas decoration kits
A great activity to do with kids, this festive paint set includes three planters, paints and a paintbrush. For those wanting standalone decorations, snap up a paint-your-own Santa, tree or snowman.
Necchi digital sewing machine
With 100s of 5-star reviews, the Necchi sewing machine has left plenty of Aldi shoppers happy with this specialbuy. It features an automatic needle threader, easy thread cutter and a twin needle function. You can also choose from a hundred built-in stitches and alphabet stitches, plus there's an LED light to highlight your work.
Crochet kit
Aldi has a great range of craft kits to dip your toe into a new technique. We particular love this Little Men and Little Miss crochet kit, which includes everything you need to make five characters.
LED Task Lamp
As the night’s draw in, it can be tricky to see your intricate crafting in low light. This LED task lamp will make it much easier to see just what you’re doing. The versatile neck allows you to direct the light to exactly where you need it and the floodlight effect eliminates shadows.
