Aldi is introducing an affordable collection of skincare containing premium ingredient black rose extract.

The Lacura Ebony Rose beauty range is arriving at the perfect time when many of us are struggling with dry and dull skin in the aftermath of the Beast of the East.

It's powered by black rose extract, which is said to ease fatigue and brighten skin, plus vitamins and shea butter.

You can refresh and pamper with the Lacura Ebony Rose Face Mask (£6.99, 60ml), which claims to leave your skin feeling smoother, softer and plumper. Aldi says that "with added vitamin B3 and avocado oil, the illuminating mask will help complexions appear more youthful and moisturised."

The nourishing Lacura Ebony Rose Cream (£6.99, 50ml) is also formulated with black rose extract and shea butter, and includes vitamin B3 and maracuja oil to hydrate and restore skin.

Aldi says the new range is dermatologically tested, and will leave skin "feeling rejuvenated and radiant".

It will be available to buy online and in stores from 21st February.

Aldi is also launching a brand new hair mask for just £4.99. It's made with coconut oil, shea butter and fig water.

"For those with heat damaged hair, the mask is perfect for improving hair texture by targeting frizz and split ends to reveal healthier looking hair," the supermarket said. "The hydrating ingredients coupled with active vitamins will transform hair from lacklustre to luscious for a fraction of the cost of branded alternatives. It’s time for some well-deserved TLC!"

Aldi’s Lacura Ebony Rose range is available to pre-order from 14th February and in stores from 21st February.
