Aldi restocks garden favourites, including sell-out egg chair

Aldi launches Strawberry and Mint Gin Liqueur and Eton Mess Gin Liqueur for the Platinum Jubilee

To honour the Queen's 70-year reign, the Platinum Jubilee Bank Holiday is fast approaching, taking place from Thursday 2 June - Sunday 5 June. Celebrations will take place nationwide, including events, parades and pageants, to make this historic occasion.

For Her Majesty's Golden and Diamond Jubilees, much of the UK chose to celebrate by attending street parties or garden celebrations.

No matter what celebration you're planning to attend, you may wish to toast the Queen with a special tipple. The good news for anyone looking to stock up on drinks for the bank holiday weekend is that supermarket, Aldi, has launched a range of limited-edition bottles for the Platinum Jubilee - including new gin liqueurs and English sparkling wines.

The first of the new gin liqueurs being released by Aldi is The Infusionist Strawberry and Mint Gin Liqueur. Available from 5 May, it costs £13.99.

The second bottle is the Eton Mess Gin Liqueur. Available from 26 May, this costs £8.99

As part of Platinum Jubilee celebrations, Aldi is also selling a host of English sparkling wines so that you can raise a glass to Her Majesty in a quintessentially British fashion. The Specially Selected English Sparkling Rose and Specially Selected English Sparkling White (both £15.99) will be available from 26 May, while the Winemaster’s Lot English Sparkling is available now.

If you're looking for another gin to celebrate the occasion, Aldi has also recently launched a Cherry Blossom Gin Liqueur. Priced at £10.99, it's available in stores now.
