We can all spread the love this week with a simple and tasty gesture, thanks to Aldi. The supermarket, which has previously launched adorable bunny crumpets, has now created cute heart-shaped 'Caring Crumpets' to help raise money for charity.
The delicious-sounding crumpets are sure to put a smile on any loved one's face. And, best of all, Aldi — together with Lakeland Bake — is donating 20p from the sale of each pack to NHS Charities Together and Teenage Cancer Trust.
Available in stores nationwide now, the supermarket is selling the super sweet love heart baked treats for just 85p for a pack of four. But you'll have to be quick, as they're a super limited 'Special Buy' and will only be available until this Thursday (25 June).
The soft and fluffy, novelty heart-shaped crumpets are a perfect after school snack for little ones returning to classes, or a lovely mid-morning treat.
Play it safe with the classic butter or jam, swipe on chocolate spread for those with a sweet tooth, or the supermarket suggests creating a savoury spectacular with avocado, eggs and bacon! It certainly sounds different but also delicious.
Lockdown may be easing, but thoughtful gestures and treats will still go a long way in this difficult time, so we see no reason not to pick up a pack.
Aldi Caring Crumpets (85p, pack of 4) are available in stores now.
