Aldi Is Selling Christmas Food From June So People Can Have The Christmas They Missed Last Year

·1-min read

You know how Christmas 2020 was near enough cancelled? And many of us had to completely change our plans at the very last minute? Well, according to reports from Aldi, 47% of Brits are planning to have the Christmas that never was in June this year, when Lockdown restrictions should (if things continue going to plan) be lifted.

I am personally very into an entire turkey being cooked on the BBQ, tbh. An itchy, boiling Christmas jumper in 31° heat, not so much.

With these Junemas plans in mind, Aldi has announced that it is planning on selling a selection of its Christmas range from next month!

To satisfy customers’ appetites, the supermarket will be selling its Specially Selected Mini Mince Pies (£1.79, four-pack) and Loaded Pigs In Blankets (£2.99, four-pack), Giant Pigs In Blankets Kebab (£2.49, four-pack) and Turkey Burgers (£2.49, two-pack) as of 21 June.

Julie Ashfield, Managing Director of Buying at Aldi, commented: “As we gear up to celebrate Junemas, we want to make sure our customers have everything they need to make this day truly special. So, we are delighted to have put the decision into our customers’ hands, asking them to cast their vote on their Aldi festive favourites, which they can enjoy alongside some new exciting treats when they reunite with friends and family next month.”

So dig out last year’s crackers and that questionable Baileys – Christmas is officially coming!
