This is the advent calendar gin fans will love
Indulging in all the delicious treats on offer is one of the best perks of Christmas and it’s almost time to get into the party spirit – literally.
Drinks by the Dram, the original purveyors of alcohol advent calendars, has released its lineup for 2022 – and there’s a gin calendar we’re really excited to get our hands on again.
Once again, the company has collaborated with That Boutique-y Gin Company, which is best-known for its diverse and innovative selection of gin blends.
There are both 12-door (£34.95) and 24-door (£69.95) options, decorated once again with artwork by illustrator Grace J Ward.
The calendars have an exciting range of drams to try, including unusual-but-delicious sounding flavours like rhubarb gin, lemon gin and a yuzu one (a Japanese citrus fruit, in case you didn't know). We’re intrigued.
Boozy advent calendars have become increasingly popular over the years with lots of our favourites, like the Laithwaites calendars and those by Virgin Wines, selling out fast.
However, it’s Drinks by the Dram that has the most offerings. Its 2022 collection features the full gamut of whiskey, gin, vodka and rum options, priced from £35 up to a hefty £999 for its rare whisky calendar.
It’s still a little early to start thinking about Christmas, admittedly. However, these popular calendars do tend to sell fast and, if you wanted to get a headstart on ticking things off your present list, you can snap one up from the Master of Malt website here. Hopefully you can resist opening it before the first of December.
