Adut Akech has signed on as the new global brand ambassador for Estée Lauder.
Beginning in July, the South Sudanese-Australian model will feature in make-up and skincare campaigns across digital, TV, and print.
"To be part of the Estée Lauder family is a dream come true," she shared. "Estée Lauder has such an amazing heritage, and the story of Mrs. Estée Lauder continues to be an inspiration to women around the world. Like her, I hope to inspire girls everywhere to never give up on following their dreams."
Adut joins the current roster of Estée Lauder global spokespeople, including Ana de Armas, Anok Yai, Bianca Brandolini D'Adda, Carolyn Murphy, Diana Penty, Grace Elizabeth, and Karlie Kloss.
In addition to starring in campaigns for the likes of Bottega Veneta, Chanel, Fendi, and Givenchy, the model has recently begun working with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to promote causes that support refugees around the world.
Accordingly, Estée Lauder group president Stéphane de La Faverie insisted the 21-year-old was the perfect fit for the brand.
"Adut is one of fashion's biggest and most influential stars," he added. "We believe her incredible story, personality and beauty will help us continue to inspire and connect with our consumers and establish her as a beauty icon of her generation."
