Acne is in fashion? Wait, that doesn’t sound right.

It sure is according to one Malaysian designer, Moto Guo. Their latest Spring/Summer 2017 show took place on Monday at Milan Men’s Fashion Week showing a very fashion forward look.

An array of versatile outfits came down the catwalk, however the models all shared a same key accessory: spots.

The male and female models all had visible fresh face’s exposing something that all teenagers obsess about hiding, their acne.

Most of us have all suffered from acne at sometime or another, however the condition is something very rarely seen in the media. Especially in the fashion industry where models are usually seen looking flawless and blemish free.

But what was the point of the acne display? Was it to show off each model’s natural beauty or to make us nostalgic for our youth (although we doubt many people miss pimples)?

Moto Guo display of the unsightly blotches in his latest “Picnic in the Society” collection conveyed a more realistic expectation of beauty, helping anyone who suffers from acne or the occasional spot to not feel so self conscious about those pesky pimples.
