Adriana Lima Slams Plastic Surgery Rumors With Witty Response

After Adriana Lima attended the Los Angeles premiere of The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Nov. 13, several trolls took to the internet to share rude commentary on the Brazilian supermodel’s appearance.
While some individuals accused her of undergoing the knife for plastic surgery, resulting in her being “unrecognizable,” Lima took it in stride. When she caught wind of the not-so-nice commentary, Lima clapped back in an Instagram story.
“The face of a tired mom of one teenage girl, two pre-teens, one active boy, a 1 year old learning to walk, and three dogs...thanks for your concern,” she wrote atop a beautiful makeup-free selfie.
Lima is the mother to three children. She shares daughters Valentina and Sienna with her ex-husband, Marko Jarić, while she and her current partner, Andre Lemmers, have a son together. Lemmers is also father to two children from a previous relationship.
The 42-year-old model is most known for her time as a Victoria’s Secret Angel, along with her long-running partnership with Maybelline.
While trolls have been leaving comments on several of Lima’s recent social posts regarding her appearance, her fans have quickly come to her defense on numerous occasions.
“Adriana you are absolutely gorgeous, please don’t let the hate put you down!” one person wrote on the model’s Nov. 8 Instagram promo post with Bulgari. “We love you from the inside and outside. You are our inspiration and we idolize you. Love you forever & always 🥰.”
