Adele's new song 'Easy On Me' had the best reactions
The only thing better than Adele's new single 'Easy On Me' is the hilarious reactions and memes it inspired.
So, the queen of music is back. No, not Chloe Jasmine from X Factor, but actual Adele. The 33-year-old singer released the first single from her new album, 30, today [15 October], and fans are obsessed.
In her recent Vogue profile, Adele explained the song was about her divorce from Simon Konecki, and how she hopes to explain the family break down to her 9-year-old son, Angelo.
"It’s not like anyone’s having a go at me,” she said. "But it’s like, I left the marriage. Be kind to me as well. It was the first song I wrote for the album and then I didn’t write anything else for six months after because I was like, ‘OK, well, I’ve said it all.'"
Once the song dropped, listeners and fans alike took to social media to share their thoughts and feelings, and some of the reactions were gold. "Adele's got me missing people I haven't even met yet," one person wrote.
Another added, "Listening to Adele while forcing your brain to create imaginary situations just to relate with the song" and "Me thinking of an argument to start with my man so I can have a solid reason to cry whilst listening to Adele."
