Over the weekend, Adele joined countless celebrities sharing photographs of their Glastonbury experiences as a result of the world famous music festival being called off this year due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
On Saturday, the mother-of-one shared a picture of herself wearing the custom-made black Givenchy dress she wore on the Pyramid stage four years ago for her headline slot. In one photo, the singer wears her pyjamas and holds a fan while in the other she’s wearing the dress and dancing in her lounge.
'5 ciders in,' she captioned the pictures.
After sharing the hilarious images, Skepta left a cryptic comment for the Grammy winner.
‘Finally got your Instagram password lol,’ the rapper wrote.
Adele replied to the comment with a winking emoji and a red heart emoji, leading many of us to speculate that the pair might be more than friends.
‘I'm here for it,’ one fan commented, alluding to suspicions that the pair are dating.
Another questioned Skepta: ‘Did you take the pic?’
‘Secured queen and king,’ another added.
Neither Skepta nor Adele have confirmed rumours of a romance, but have spoken affectionately about each other over the years.
In 2016, the ‘Shutdown’ singer opened up about their friendship in ES Magazine.
‘Adele texts me all the time and keeps me in check,’ he told the publication. ‘She speaks to me about how things are going.’
The same year, Adele posted a picture of Skepta and wrote ‘Tottenham Boy’ alongside a heart emoji, which he later retweeted with the words ‘love you’ and a red rose emoji.
Adele is believed to have attended the grime star’s 37th birthday during a night out at the Crystal Maze experience in London last year.
In September 2019, the ‘Set Fire To The Rain’ singer filed for divorce from her ex-husband Simon Konecki citing irreconcilable differences and requested joint custody of their son Angelo.
In May, Adele appeared to ‘speak’ about the break-up for the first time via a meme.
Sharing side-by-side pictures of herself crying during her 2016 Brit Award acceptance speech and another during her Carpool Karaoke appearance that year, the caption reads: ‘When you catch yourself in your feelings then you remember who you are.’
