Adele confronted a heckler during one of her Weekends With Adele shows in Las Vegas after an audience member appeared to shout “Pride sucks” as the Someone Like You singer spoke to the crowd.

The 36-year-old singer, who has shown her support for Pride on many occasions, was performing as part of her Las Vegas residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace when she showed her support for the LGBTQ+ community in between songs.

The Rolling In The Deep songstress looked sensational as she sat at a piano bench in a stunning long sleeved black dress. However, as she sat at the piano, Adele confronted an audience member who interrupted her monologue.

In a clip, which has been widely circulated on social media, she said bluntly: "“Don’t be so f***ing ridiculous."

On hearing the cry from the audience, the Londoner replied: “What was that?” She added: “Did you just say Pride sucks?”.

Adele, whose Las Vegas residency ends in November, then told the audience member to “shut up” if they didn’t have anything “nice to say” before being cheered by other attendees at the concert.

“Did you come to my f****** show and just say that Pride sucks? Are you f****** stupid?,” she stated. “Don’t be so f****** ridiculous. If you’ve got nothing nice to say, shut up, all right.”

The interaction came as Adele performed as part of her Las Vegas residency - something she has been doing since 2022 and there has been more than one emotional moment. Back in October 2023, the Skyfall singer was moved to tears as she spotted the doctor who had delivered her son, Angelo, in the audience. In response to the sighting, Adele paused her set and rushed to embrace the doctor.

“Oh my god, Colin! Oh my god! This is my doctor who gave birth to my baby! I haven't seen you for years!,” she exclaimed. Meanwhile in another emotional moment, Adele paid tribute to the late Matthew Perry following his death, calling him “incredibly, incredibly brave”.

In a video posted online, Adele said: "It's always quite shocking when, especially someone that made you laugh, who brought so much joy to your life that you don't know - this is what I find so strange."

She added: “I've never met him in my life; it's happened with a few other comedians and stuff like that but there's something so... you feel so sad about it.”

The Grammy-award winner went on to share how she’d remember Matthew’s Friends character Chandler “for the rest of my life” and revealed how she’d even gone on a Friends tour while visiting New York for the first time.

She continued: “I just want to say how much I love what he did for all of us. Especially what he did for me.”
