Adam Driver has been unveiled as the face of Burberry’s latest men's fragrance.
The Annette actor confirmed he will front the campaign for the first scent to be created by the fashion house’s chief creative officer, Riccardo Tisci.
“I’m very happy to be working with Burberry on this campaign, and with Riccardo Tisci in representing his first fragrance for the brand,” Adam said in a statement.
The new scent will be available to buy in August, with further details about the fragrance yet to be released, reports WWD.
Adam showed his loyalty for the label as he dressed in a black Burberry tuxedo suit while attending the opening night of the Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday.
The 37-year-old walked the red carpet at the glitzy French event with Marion Cotillard, both of whom star in new movie Annette – which had its premiere on the same evening. The movie proved such a hit with fans it received a five-minute standing ovation from the crowd, with Adam and Marion joining in the applause for French director Leos Carax.
Adam is evidently a Burberry fan, having worn pieces from the British luxury fashion house to a series of high-profile events in the past, including the 2020 Oscars ceremony where he stepped out in a custom black wool English-fit tuxedo, as well as the 2019 BAFTAs.
