There Are Actual Mini Eggs Stuffed In The Chocolate Of This Easter Egg
That’s it – as far as we’re concerned it is officially Easter. We will, of course, still take a break from Easter to celebrate Valentine’s Day and Shrove Tuesday, but we’re happy to just accept it’s Easter eggs and hot cross buns from here on out.
And seeing as we’re constantly getting word of new and exciting Easter eggs hitting supermarket shelves, it seems like we’re not the only ones on the Easter hype.
Today’s Easter egg of choice is this Cadbury Mini Egg one. Now, you’re probably thinking, “Yawn. I’ve seen plenty of Mini Eggs Easter eggs in my time.” Well, this one’s different, okay? It’s got literal Mini Eggs embedded in the chocolate of the egg. How glorious is that?!
We first spotted the egg when @helenjtea shared photos and even videos of the egg on Instagram.
She said in the caption that this particular Easter egg is probably twice the size of any Mini Eggs Easter egg she’s seen in the past. FINE BY US!
According to the post, you can get your hands on one of these mammoth eggs from Tesco.
We’re guessing this egg has been inspired by the new Cadbury Dairy Milk bar, which we first heard about in October when @johnssnackreviews posted about it on Instagram.
The sharing bar is made up of delicious Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate that’s been stuffed with the iconic Mini Eggs.
Responses to the news at the time included “OMG”, “Say whattttttttt”, and “Good lord, need”. And, yes, we agree with all those statements.
