A pregnant model, a BAFTA-winning actress and Alice Temperley’s own mother starred in her inclusive SS19 London Fashion Week show.

The designer, who showcased her upcoming collection in the grade II listed Centre Point in central London on Saturday night, kept her catwalk design minimal and let her varied model line-up – and the wow-factor views of the capital – do all the talking.

The entrance of Alice’s mother on the catwalk was met with resounding cheers by the FROW – which included Alice’s sister Mary and model friend Jodie Kidd.

Award-winning actress, and Damien Lewis’s wife Helen McCrory looked perfectly at ease in a sparkly, tailored jumpsuit, while pregnant model – and Temperley muse – Arizona Muse ensured maximum comfort in a loose dress and flat sandals.

‘Game of Thrones’ star Nathalie Emmanuel also seemed a natural on the runway, smiling to onlookers and nailing her model walk in a semi-sheer pink dress.

Also on the runway was top British model Laura Bailey, singer Corinne Bailey Rae, celebrity chef Jasmine Hemsley and London ‘it’ girl Alice Dellal.

The collection itself was equally enthralling. Embroidery, feminine silhouettes and sequins adorned the catwalk making the watching collection of editors and influencers long for next summer.
