8 athleisure brands our editors are wearing in 2022

Activewear and athleisure wear are looking to flourish this year as we continue to ditch stuffy corporate wear and opt for stretchy leggings while we WFH.

A majority of our face-to-face business calls and meetings have now been replaced with a copious amount of screentime, with leggings, bicycle shorts, sweatpants and loungewear becoming part of our daily wear.

According to a research study by Statista, the US sports apparel market was valued at US$105.1 billion in 2020 and is expected to reach US$113.4 billion in 2021.

That being said, this trend is not new, as we've seen athleisure wear taking over the '80s and '90s music and exercise videos. In the '90s, I must admit, I was into cropped tops and bicycle shorts as much as I am into them today (sans nerdy glasses and a bad perm).

According to Yahoo's team of editors and producers, these are some of the brands we can't get enough of, as we transition into a hybrid-remote work scenario.

Our editorial team is dedicated to finding and telling you more about the products and deals we love. If you love them too and decide to purchase through the links below, we may receive a commission. Prices were correct at the time of publication.
