Springtime is when London hotel pop-ups kick into high gear, embracing warmer weather, longer days and special occasions such as Mother’s Day and Easter. Some hotels have opened up their rooftops for brunching, while others have transformed their afternoon tea menus to match the blooming nature outside. Here are six events you shouldn’t miss, whether you’re looking for a Mother’s Day treat or simply to celebrate the new season.

Pampering afternoon tea and facials at The London EDITION

There’s hardly a more relaxing way to spend the afternoon than taking tea and heading to a spa. For Mother’s Day, The London EDITION’s ever-so-popular Berner’s Tavern is offering a special afternoon tea set, which includes unusual sweet and savoury treats, such as sesame tart with yuzu curd and salmon tartare with cucumber and crème fraiche. The pampering with a 70-minute signature Skinwork treatment at the nearby Alex Eagle Studio. The facial aims to relieve tension in the neck and shoulders, while cleansing the skin using special extraction methods. The perfect gift for mums – or anyone, really.

Available March 30 and 31; afternoon tea for two with one Skinwork treatment £200; with two treatments £300
