Courteney Cox has been vocal about skincare for years. Whether opening up about using fillers or sharing her five-minute makeup routine, she often offers fans advice. Now, the star is opening up about one of her go-to products: Dermalogica’s Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50 Moisturiser.

Cox was first introduced to the skincare brand on the set of Friends. For the show’s super fans, you might have spotted Dermalogica’s Cleansing Gel sitting on a shelf in her character Monica’s bathroom. “I was like, ‘Oh, I want to try that,’” Cox told People in an interview. Now, years later, the star is partnering with the brand and sharing all the products she loves—including one of her favourites for hydrating her skin, the Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF 50 moisturiser.

“It’s not chalky. It really is moisturising and it illuminates your skin,” she shared with People. “It also has a great scent. I use it on my face, neck, and also my hands and my arms, and I’m nuts about that.”

Cox also shared that sunscreen is a must in her daily beauty routine, admitting that she didn’t always realise the importance of wearing SPF. “You have to have the knowledge and understand what happens if you don’t use it. I don’t think I learned that until much later,” she said. “So I’m trying to instill that into [my daughter] Coco now, to be careful.”

And we can see why it’s Cox’s go-to. As a daily moisturiser and sunscreen all in one, the product provides both broad spectrum SPF 50 protection against UV rays and long-lasting hydration to the skin, thanks to ingredients like squalane and hyaluronic acid. It also helps combat the appearance of ageing with a polypeptide blend that aims to smooth the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

The moisturiser is a top-rated pick online, with reviewers raving that the formula is super lightweight, non-greasy, and “absorbs right into your skin”—making it an especially great moisturiser for sensitive skin. “This product transformed my skin! It is extremely dewy and hydrated immediately after using,” writes one Sephora shopper. “I also love that it has SPF built into it so it’s two steps in one. The texture is wonderful and it melts seamlessly into my skin.”

Customers also love that the moisturiser with SPF doesn’t leave a white cast and can be worn under makeup—and were especially amazed by its anti-aging benefits. “I feel like it has greatly improved the elasticity and overall tone of my skin, and has also greatly reduced my fine lines. I think it has given my skin five years of its life back,” writes a customer on Dermalogica’s website. “I often times have an aversion to SPFs in my face lotions because they can be heavy and have a tendency to make me break out. This lotion, however, is different. It does not feel at all heavy and has never made me break out. It’s the best lotion I have found.”

And despite the expensive price tag for its small size, shoppers swear that it’s “worth every penny” and “lasts a long time.”

We definitely don’t need more convincing that this top-rated moisturiser with SPF is an absolute must-have—especially with Cox’s glowing stamp of approval.

Dermalogica’s moisturiser isn’t the only product Cox uses from the brand. The actress also shared that she loves the Daily Microfoliant, the Dynamic Skin Retinol Serum, and the brand’s latest launch, the Phyto Nature Oxygen Cream.
