All of the most revealing, sexiest dresses ever worn on the Golden Globes red carpet
January means a new year, endless rain (boo) and the start of awards season (yay) kicking off with the Golden Globe Awards. First held in 1944 (!!), this year will see the 81st Golden Globes take place, honouring the best in film and television released over the previous year.
While we love seeing the nominations for each category, what we're really here for is the red carpet looks worn by all our fave celebs attending the ceremony IRL (compared to us, watching at home in our pyjamas from the comfort of our sofa). Every year, stars including the likes of Emily Ratajkowski, Kate Hudson and Jennifer Aniston never fail to disappoint.
Plus, the fact it's the first awards show of the season means it's a great opportunity to check out the biggest emerging trends. Spoiler alert: we're predicting naked dressing to still be *huge* for 2024.
While we eagerly await this year's Golden Globes – just days away, ppl! – we're taking a look back at some of the sexiest dresses worn on the red carpet EVER. Like Heidi Klum's sequin and feathered cut-out mini from last year's event (we don't know how she can top that look but knowing Heidi, she will) or Kerry Washington going braless in just a diamond body chain and blazer back in 2020.
We've also gone further back down memory lane, reliving iconic throwback moments from JLo's abs in '98 to JLo's legs in 2015. And can we talk about Cher's fishnets and garter lewk from waaay back in '84? She was and remains a queen.
Keep scrolling to see all the most daring, most naked-y Golden Globe red carpet moments of all time.
