Air travel was for the privileged.

9-1-1 didn't exist.

Lead-based paint was all the rage.

Cars weren't equipped with airbags.

Heart transplants weren't an option.

Dialing involved clockwise finger rotation.

Phone calls meant staying in one spot.

Local calls were only 7 digits.

Getting a credit card was a breeze.

Chicken pox killed 100 children a year in the U.S.

Catholics were okay with the pill.
