5 animals from RSPCA Dorset who are looking for their forever homes
A number of pets in Dorset are looking for their forever homes, including at the Ashley Heath Animal Centre.
Located on the border with Hampshire, the centre offers care for its animals in rural surroundings.
A few animals from the centre are listed below but more can be found on the centre's website.

Whitney

Age - Two years old (approx)
Breed - Collie (Smooth coat) crossbreed
Colour - Dark/Grey/White

Whitney came into the care of the RSPCA after she was removed from unsuitable living conditions.
Although initially shy, Whitney is described as "a very sweet girl" and once you have gained her trust, she is playful and full of energy.
She is interested to see what is going on but until she gets to know you, she can be quite worried by sudden movements or touch.
New adopters must respect that she may take time to allow interaction, fuss and attention.
Due to her past, Whitney has never experienced a proper home environment before so new owners would need to show her the ropes.

Cap's owner was sadly unable to cope looking after him which resulted in him being brought to the Ashley Heath centre.
When he first came in, he was quite nervous and hid a lot, but has gradually gained confidence each day.
The RSPCA feel he possibly could be rehomed with another cat, but not a dog. He could also live with children 10 years old and above.
Additionally, he is not to be rehomed within five miles of Wimborne Minster (BH21).
Destiny

Age - 12 years old (approx)
Breed - Domestic Shorthair crossbreed
Colour - Black and White

Destiny is a cat looking for her forever home and who the RSPCA says will be a great companion once she gets to know you.
She may get used to living with another cat or dog if a suitable match and could also live with children 10 years old and above.
Ashley Heath adds: "Destiny currently has a grade 3 heart murmur, heart murmurs are very common in cats and may never hinder your cats normal day to day antics. All veterinary information will be passed to adopters on enquiry."
Additionally, she is not to be rehomed within five miles of Southampton (SO16).
Dahlia and Daffy

Breed - Domestic

Dahlia and hutch mate Daffy are now looking for their new home together after coming from a multi-rabbit household.
Both have been used to being around people from a young age, so they are both confident and inquisitive.
They both enjoy exploring and are used to being handled when needed.
As a lionhead, Daffy will require his longer fur to be regularly brushed to ensure he doesn't get tangled and matted.
