There used to be a time when all the new season items would arrive on the high street in the same week, if not within days of each other, however now the new-in sections are steadily updated and so are less defined by seasons. This means you might not have noticed that this week is when we have seen the real shift towards spring, with many of the complete spring collections now available to buy. This has been a focus for us on Who What Wear over the past seven days, as our editors have been sorting through the thousands of products to bring you concise edits of the best of the best items on the high street right now.

Our editors might be able to spot a cult high street buy a mile off, but we also like to crowdsource and see what other people are loving. So for this piece we have turned to some of our favourite influencers who are known for their sharp eye for spotting high street winners, and asked them to each share the six products that they think are destined for cult status this spring. Some themes have come up, with a strong love for Arket's spring collection, quilted coats and vests and a floral spring dress. But we were careful to pick people who had really different personal styles, so whether you are a jeans and a T-shirt kind of girl, or prefer to dress like a rainbow, we're sure there will be an item you love below.

Dior Bediako is the founder of Pepper Your Talk, a fashion career support platform, and the Junior Network, a mentorship program for young professionals. She also has epic personal style, effortlessly mixing classic basics with more statement pieces, and her shopping list below perfectly reflects that balance.

Arket Ribbed Racer Tank (£17)

Have you watched Malcolm and Marie? If so, you will understand why I believe everyone needs a brand new white tank top in preparation for summer.

ASOS Design Hourglass Slim Dad Suit Slide Trouser in Perfect Pink (£32)

Pink is my colour and I don't consider myself to be a girly girl but I love how this colour looks on my skin.

Arket Quilted Jacket (£89)

Perfect for the spring chill because it's oversized but not too bulky. The navy blue would be my choice over black.

& Other Stories Fitted Buttoned Top (£65)

Maybe I binge watched too many episodes of The Crown and Bridgerton back-to-back but this top feels like something that's already living in my mind. The elegance of the neckline is what I'm most drawn to, but I love how contemporary the look becomes when paired with jeans.

Mango Long Denim Jumpsuit (£60)

I can imagine wearing this jumpsuit over and over again. White is a risky colour, I'll be honest. But the style and cut take away from the preciousness of the colour.

Mango Heel Denim Sandal (£36)

Francesca Saffari has classic, minimal style and often finds expensive-looking pieces on the high street, such as this jumper from Arket.

Arket Oversized Wool Hopsack Blazer (£135)

Blazers are the perfect transitional piece and this one is a light wool material which is perfect for spring dressing.

H&M Pyjama Shirt and Shorts (£35)

Obsessed with everything gingham and you can’t beat linen pjs in my opinion.

Barbour + Alexachung Julie Belted Gabardine Coat (£300)

Ok so this is not technically high street and a bit of a splurge item, but I love this trench from the new Alexa Chung x Barbour range. A trench will always be a wardrobe staple.

Adidas Ozweego (£85)

I have been eyeing these up for ages and they go so well with tailored pieces for a more dressed down look.

& Other Stories Buckled Chunky Leather Loafers (£100)

You can’t beat a chunky loafer and there are a few pairs around at the moment but I love this pair from Stories.

Arket Jersey Polo Shirt (£59)

Arket has so many good Marinière inspired pieces at the moment. Stripes are just so classic and I can never have too many in my wardrobe:

Lindsey's Instagram feed is a burst of colour, as she leans towards pastels and prints, so it's no surprise that the next six items are colourful, printed, and oh-so joyful.

Warehouse Gingham Midi Dress (£41)

I love everything about this dress and think there are so many great ways it can be styled to make it perfect for any season.

& Other Stories Quilted Banana Sleeve Coat (£135)

There are a few great quilted jackets like this on the high street right now but I feel like & Other Stories can never be beaten on quality. It's the most perfect spring coat. I'm in love.

Monki Short-Sleeve Cotton Jumpsuit (£35)

I gasped when I first saw this, Monki know how to do gingham—they smash it every time.

Zara Oversized Knit Dress (£50)

I love the colour of this dress—it looks so chic and so comfortable all at the same time!

Zara Wide-Leg Coloured Jeans (£30)

Oasis Quilted Coat (£33)

Rachael's wardrobe is the total opposite, as she sticks to classic pieces in a neutral colour palette of sands, camels, blacks and greys.

Arket Short Leather Coat (£350)

This buttery leather jacket is the dream spring coat.

H&M Slides (£40)

Yes, I'm already thinking about sandals.

& Other Stories Quilted Padded Vest (£85)

A clever layering item for this in-between weather

Mango Bucket Hat With Straps (£18)

I love a bucket hat.

Clarks Wallabee 2 Suede Flatform Moccasins, Maple (£110)

For all this walking we're doing.

Free People Dahlia Embroidered Maxi Dress (£158)

I'm loving this butter yellow maxi dress.

Nicole Ocran is one of our favourite influencers to follow for high street finds, and her outfits always have a sunny outlook with playful prints and lots of colour.

Arket Straight Twill Trousers (£89)

I'm having a real obsession with green at the moment and these Arket trousers have ticked all the boxes for me.

Topshop Sunflower T-Shirt in Yellow (£22)

This printed Van Gough shirt from Topshop is such a 90s mood

Monki Yoko Purple Jeans (£32)

COS Puff Sleeve Gathered Waist (£79)

I'm not usually one for black dresses but this one from COS is a stand out with the gathered waist detail!

Oasis Short Quilted Jacket (£32)

I have yet to get my hands on a quilted jacket and this pink cropped number from Oasis already feels perfect for spring!

Zara Striped Knit Sweater (£20)

It wouldn't be a wishlist without a co-ord in my mind, this one from Zara is such a sweet set with a duck egg blue and white stripe!

Zara Striped Knit Skirt (£20)

Sara Brown is another colourful dresser, as we imagine her wardrobe would look like an actual rainbow. Her styling philosophy is 'more is more', so she's obviously found some of the jazziest pieces out there for us.

Never Fully Dressed Curve Pinks Who Run the World Midi Dress (£89)

I love this arty pink based print, and this dress shape is the perfect chuck-it-on style.

Mango Violeta Metallic-Effect Overshirt (£70)

This is such an exciting layering piece to find in plus sizes. I would either pair this up with its matching trousers for a co-ord look, or flared jeans and a high neck, long-sleeved printed top underneath.

Karen Millen Curve Leather Trench Coat (£449)

Although I know now might not be the most expected time to buy a coat, but I saw this recently and just thought WOW. I feel like this would be a coat that gives you joy for so so many years. Plus we all know the British weather, it still might snow in April knowing our luck.

New Girl Order Sweet Kitty Mesh Top Curve (£20)

I am a crazy cat lady through and through so of course I love this. I am also obsessed with layering long sleeved tops underneath things and I think the print kind of looks like it could be designer, like Mimi Wade or Ashley Williams.

Asos Design Curve Tiered Smock Mini Dress in Dark Based Floral (£30)

This just gets me really excited for spring. I love that it looks like it might be vintage.

ASOS Design Wide Fit Wilma Mary Jane Mid Heels in Check (£30)

I think neat Mary Janes always make an outfit look really well put together, plus like the rest of the fashion world I am obsessed with checks right now. It's also a nice change from all the chunky trainers and boots I have been wearing throughout the winter.
