I typically like coats that fall below my waist, but I can’t deny this throwback style from The North Face is one of the warmest coats I own. It also happens to be the coat I reach for most often on really cold days. It’s definitely very puffy and slightly oversized, but I love it nonetheless. “My go-to winter coat is definitely a plain black faux fur jacket that’s so soft, warm and goes with everything. The only time I hold back on wearing faux fur is if it’s raining. I’m not going for a wet dog look! I originally got my black faux fur coat from Gap a few years ago. Though it looks like the brand no longer sells it, I also have a leopard print H&M faux fur jacket — and it comes in black this year.
