POLICE patrolled four Bradford roads this week in a bid to catch speeding drivers.

In total, 31 drivers were caught speeding across the locations during Neighbourhood Policing Week.

On the evening of Wednesday, January 25, officers went to New Works Road and Brighouse Road, in Low Moor, and caught 23 vehicles breaking the speed limit.

The previous night, they visited Holme Lane in Tong where eight vehicles were caught speeding.

On Monday and Thursday, police were on Albert Road, Queensbury and Spencer Road in Great Horton and Farfield Avenue, Buttershaw.

No vehicles were found to be speeding at either location.

Police urged the public to tell them which roads are of concern in relation to speeding.

A spokesperson said: "Moving onwards, this allows us to target specific areas that are identified to see issues and use this work to enable speeding enforcement which is an issue we know many in the community feel passionate about.

"It is noted that social media users comment about where they would like to see speeding work carried out by PCSOs / police officers, and this is encouraged to allow us to plan our work effectively and deliver what our communities want and need."
