This 27-year-old woman is set to become the youngest woman to visit every country in the world
Got the travel bug? You might want to take some inspiration from intrepid explorer Cassie De Pecol. Because not only is the 27-year-old on a mission to visit all 196 countries on the planet, she's also going to be the first documented female to do so. And the fastest. Oh, and the youngest. Pretty impressive no?
The ambitious traveller first kicked off her round-the-world adventure in July last year and has already visited around 181 countries on her must list. And with only 15 countries left and around 40 days to go, she's bang on track to smash the Guinness World Record for the fastest person to travel to all Sovereign States. Go Cassie!
Cassie's incredible journey is called Expedition196 and she's embarking on the trip as an Ambassador for Peace on behalf of the International Institute for Peace Through Tourism.
Sadly, Cassie hasn't been able to take us in her backpack, but we can at least satisfy our extreme travel envy by following her path via her Instagram.
