22 Kids' Sue Radford in tears over youngest child as she reveals whether she'll expand brood

Sue Radford is famed for being the mum of Britain's biggest family, along with her husband Noel. The couple are parents to 22 children in total, with ages ranging from 35 to four.

Sue, 48, and Noel, 52, met as children before having their first child, Chris, in their teenage years. The parents welcomed their 22nd child, Heidie, in April 2020 and have spoken out on a number of occasions about the possibility of expanding their brood further in the future.

With Heidie, four, being the youngest of the family, it's understandable that her milestones have caused parents Sue and Noel to become emotional. Sue was left in tears as she told fans her "last baby" is going to school in September in a new update, as she looked to other parents for support.

Writing on Instagram, Sue told her followers: “Picked up Heidie’s starting school pack and found out who her teacher will be in September. It suddenly feels so real that our last baby is starting school. Anyone else’s little ones starting school in September, how are you feeling?”

It comes after Sue and Noel appeared to rule out having another baby after the arrival of Heidie, despite admitting they are "addicted" to having children. When touching on the possibility of having baby number 23, as reported by the Daily Star, Sue said: "No, I don't think so though we have said similar things before! But no, that's it now."

Noel admitted: "We've said similar things plenty of times before! But seriously, Heidie is three now, so yes... we're enjoying our sleep at last! And we no longer have to worry about kids being at that age when they pick things up off the floor and stick them in their mouths."

The couple opened up about their love for having kids in their book, The Radfords: Making Life Count. Sue and Noel wrote: "We haven't just been addicted to love during our long and happy marriage - for most of it, we have also been addicted to having children. As addictions go, we think it was a pretty healthy one because it was motivated by nothing other than love - love for each other, and the love of having children."

"We are Britain's biggest family, and proud of it. This wasn't the plan, however. Indeed, looking at the size of our brood, you might think there was absolutely no family planning involved whatsoever!" they continued.
