Amusing NASA video catches Apollo astronaut's clumsy moments
This footage shows NASA's Apollo 17 astronaut Jack Schmitt having a series of clumsy moments on the surface of the moon.
Schmitt struggles with his lunar rock sample collection bag before tripping and falling over the object while wearing his top heavy EVA suit.
The series of gaffes leads Capcom base at Houston Mission Control to ask his fellow astronaut to go over and help 'Twinkletoes'!
Schmitt, a geologist, remains the only professional scientist to have flown beyond low Earth orbit and to have visited the Moon and went on to serve one term as a US Senator.
