Located in Dunedin, New Zealand, Baldwin Street holds the title of the steepest street in the world, according to Guinness World Records.

Baldwin Street is even paved with concrete instead of asphalt, because on a hot day the tar would actually move down the slope.

So why would anyone set up home on such a bizarre stretch?

Turns out it's all to do with bad planning, and urban designers from England are to blame!
