Woman snaps selfie during terrifying encounter with wild bear
A hiker has shared her remarkable selfie that she snapped during the scary encounter with wild bear on a trail in Mexico.
The encounter occurred at the Chipinque Ecological Park in San Pedro Garza García, according to the person who shared the video.
The footage shows frozen to the spot as a black bear, sniffs her. Two other hikers watch on as the animal briefly drops to all fours, before rearing back up and pressing himself against the woman.
Unbelievably, the woman chooses this moment to whip out her camera phone and snap a selfie.
Almost as if aware that the pic has been taken, the black bear then backs off, swipes playfully at the woman's legs and wanders off, leaving the trio of hikers to make their escape.
