Construction workers in narrow escape as 200-year-old bridge collapses in India

Several construction workers had a very narrow escape after a 200-year-old bridge collapsed in Northern India.

The bridge, built across the Kali river during the era of the British Empire, was decommissioned two years ago and a new one has been going up in its place.

Builders working on the new bridge were close to the dilapidated structure when it started crumbling.

Seconds later, the structure collapsed entirely.
