A campaign van with an electronic billboard advertising the Liberal Democrats was blocked by Leave protesters during demonstrations on Thursday.
Leave demonstrators attempted to blockade the van outside the Houses of Parliament in London's Westminster until police stepped in to disperse the crowd.
The Brexiteers were later seen shouting "scum" at MPs arriving in their cars at Parliament.
The UK had been due to leave the EU on October 31 but an extension has been granted by Brussels.
