An impatient motorcyclist tries to dodge a level crossing - only to be clotheslined by the barrier!

The incident in Bangkok, Thailand, shows the rider approach the train tracks as a passenger locomotive rattles past.

But rather than wait, he tries to ride through the warning lights and siren without noticing the metal bar directly in front of him.

Trainspotter Parinya Chukaew captures the moment the man rides straight into the metal barrier, with the collision snapping his head backwards.

Fortunately he is not injured and appears to see the funny side.
