Jennifer Lopez shuts down fashion week in iconic green Versace gown
She's still got it!
Jennifer Lopez closed out the Spring 2020 Versace fashion show at Milan Fashion Week on Friday afternoon wearing a reimagined version of the iconic green Versace gown that she wore to the Grammys in 2000.
The moment marked the 20-year anniversary of the dress, and it brought the star-studded audience to its feet as Lopez strutted down the runway.
As Women's Wear Daily reports, "when models finished their walk, a voiceover of Versace filled the room, asking Google to show her pictures of that green Versace dress. After images flooded the screens, Versace's voice was back to ask to see the real thing, with Lopez then taking the runway."
Donatella Versace joined J-Lo for the epic finale, posing for photos with the triple-threat star.
The iconic green dress that Lopez wore to the 2000 Grammy Awards is heavily credited with being the impetus for the creation of Google Images, after the search engine saw record searches for photos of Lopez's plunging look at the time.
It's been a big year for Lopez, who celebrated her 50th birthday this summer with a sold-out tour. She's also coming off the biggest box office debut of her career with "Hustlers," which is garnering her Oscar buzz already.
The J-Lo moment isn't Donatella's first nostalgia runway play: She had iconic '90s supermodels Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford, Carla Bruni and Helena Christensen close her Spring 2018 show in matching gold gowns in a moment that instantly went viral.
