Car hits house and causes blast that wrecks seven homes
Police in Canada have shared aerial footage showing devastation in Ontario after a vehicle struck a house, hit a gas line and sparked an explosion.
City officials said one home was destroyed and six others were damaged.
One member of the public and several first responders were injured in the incident in Old East Village, London, police said.
Residents of around 100 homes were evacuated and the area was cordoned off for an investigation.
Police said a 23-year-old local woman, Daniella Alexandra Leis, was facing a number of charges in relation to the collision, including drink-driving. She is due to appear in court next month.
