Mini-golf course opens in Kent cathedral

Rochester Cathedral has been a place of worship since 604 AD.

But in an attempt to welcome new worshippers, the church has turned to a rather novel gimmick.

The 1,400 year-old building has installed a miniature golf course for the summer which it hopes will attract a younger audience.

Each of the nine holes features a different type of bridge, with the theme of 'building bridges' core to the effort of bringing in new visitors.
