Duchess Kate dazzles in green as she opens new mental health centre

Elegant in emerald!

On Wednesday morning, Duchess Kate stepped out in London to officially open the Kanton Centre of Excellence. This new centre is part of the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families where Kate serves as a royal patron. Kensington Palace shared on Twitter that the "new centre brings leading practitioners, researchers and young people together for the first time, to improve mental health services for children and families."

For the midweek event, Duchess Kate looked beautiful in an emerald green Emilia Wickstead dress that shared paired with her classic nude heels and a matching nude clutch. She kept her makeup and jewellery minimal while rocking her signature bouncy blowout.

The mother-of-three has been a champion for mental health, especially of children, for years. Just this past January the duchess helped to launch a hotline where children and their families could get support for difficult issues, including mental health struggles. Later on Wednesday, the duchess will also "visit the Pears Family School in its new building and meet children and their families participating in a music class."

This outing comes just one week after Duchess Kate stepped out alongside her brother-in-law Prince Harry for Anzac Day, where the two honoured the fallen soldiers of Australia and New Zealand.
