A new study shows that the more people spend their time away from home, the more likely it is that they will eat breakfast!
Researchers asked 1500 frequent travellers about their breakfast-eating habits and found the 63% of travellers eat breakfast at least three times a week as opposed to 45% who don't travel frequently, who eat the same amount.
The definition of frequent travellers are those who spend more than six weeks of the year overseas. Those travelling more than six times a year are more likely to have higher paid jobs with breakfast provided readily through hotels.
All this adds up to make the main morning meal more of a convenience for those travelling as opposed to those of us rolling out of bed and rushing for the door.
