Strangers form unbreakable bond when one gave birth to the other’s son

Two strangers have spoken of their unbreakable bond, formed when one gave birth to the other's son – after she lost her baby boy and feared she would never be a mum.

Collapsing at 36 weeks pregnant in 2015, Julie Wong, 41, came to from an induced coma days later in hospital, discovering to her horror that she had lost both her baby and her uterus, following a haemorrhage.

Thinking she would never have a child of her own, she could not believe her luck after meeting Kadie Fairbrother, 26, of Sheffield, South Yorkshire, in November 2016 – only for her to offer to be a surrogate for Julie and her computer programmer husband, Peter.
