Fire at Ocado's automated warehouse halts customer deliveries

More than 200 firefighters were called to a large blaze at a British online supermarket where robots are used to fill more than 4000 orders a day.

The fire broke out at the warehouse of Ocado supermarket in Andover, Hampshire.

The blaze caused disruption to orders and many customers reported deliveries were cancelled and orders could not be placed.

Hampshire Fire and Rescue said that 120 firefighters with up to 20 vehicles, including aerial platforms, had been involved in the incident.

No-one has been hurt and the extent of the damage remains unclear.
