Is this the loneliest dog in Britain?

·1-min read

After over 500 days in a shelter, this pooch has been dubbed the loneliest in dog in Britain.

Hector has been at the RSPCA's Little Valley Animal Shelter in Exeter, Devon since October of 2017 after being rescued.

Jo Evans, the shelter manager told SWNS: "Hector is hilarious. He never fails to make us smile and is a firm favourite with all who meet him."

Yet the two year old has not found a home and it has baffled the staff at the shelter.

"He's adored by staff and we can't understand why he is always overlooked."

Hector does look like he has a happy life at this wonderful shelter, but that's no substitute for a loving home.

Here's hoping Hector finds a family soon.
