Leaning Tower of Pisa is standing a little more upright

The famed monument in Italy has been made a little more stable.

While it's still noticeably tilted, a long-term project has successfully lessened the slant by about an inch and a half.

One of the experts involved in the effort said it's equivalent to having two centuries taken off its age.

The tower developed a pronounced slant by the time the third storey was finished, but work continued until its 14th century completion.
