Head-on collision caught on dashcam

Every driver's worst nightmare came true for this motorist.

Footage from the car's dashcam captures a seemingly routine journey.

The car in front then swerves to the side of the road and it's not immediately clear why.

But then a car travelling in the wrong direction looms into view, and with a bus approaching in the opposite lane there's only one direction for the driver to turn.

Despite taking evasive action, the vehicle is still hit, but it could have been so much worse.
