Why being bored at work might actually be a good thing

Being bored and daydreaming is good for our brains and careers! It can spark your next big idea even if your boss may call your boredom 'lazy'.

But it's scientifically proven to be effective, according to author Manoush Zomorodi.

Zomorodi says that when your body is not doing any activity and you're thinking, your brain goes into 'default mode'.

You come up with ways of combining ideas and making connections.

You either do some self reflecting and look back on our lives, plan for the future, and set goals.

To make boredom productive at work, Zomorodi suggests talking a walk or a longer lunch break without your phone.

Either way, all bored daydreamers are actually geniuses and helpful!
