According to American-Statesman, Brandon Vezmar took his first date, after meeting online, to small claims court.

His demand? He wants his money back for his ticket to the blockbuster 'Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 2'.

He claims she was interrupting his cinema experience by texting.

Adding that he believes she is 'a threat to civilized society' and is demanding a full refund of $17.31 - the full price for his ticket.

That glow of the phone must have really gotten to him!

Apparently it started 15 minutes into the movie and it didn't end there.

He says she 'activated her phone at least 10-20 times' during the course of the film.

With this being one of his pet peeves, he asked her to step outside to text.

She never returned leaving him at the cinema stranded with no way to get home.

She believes this is crazy and plans on getting a protective order against him as he reached out to her little sister for the movie ticket money as well.
