'Hopefully I look more normal now': Melanie Griffith on her plastic surgery regrets

Over the years, Melanie Griffith has been cruelly ridiculed for her appearance after undergoing plastic surgery.

As she prepares to turn 60 this summer, the Working Girl actress admitted she was 'so hurt' when she found out people were criticising her looks.

Griffith tells the new issue of Porter magazine: "I didn't realise until people started saying, 'Oh my God, what has she done?!' I was so hurt.

"I went to a different doctor and he started dissolving all of this s**t that this other woman doctor had put in. Hopefully I look more normal now."

The film star, who divorced third husband Antonio Banderas two years ago, also opened up on the end of their 19 year marriage.

She explained: "I think part of the reason my marriage to Antonio fell apart was because I was stuck. Nobody else was to blame.

"It's just that I personally got stuck and I won't let that happen again. I want to enjoy life, I want to do whatever I want to do."
