Johnny Depp's 37 acre French compound goes up for sale

Johnny Depp may still be deep into his divorce battle with Amber Heard, but there's another area of his life where he's hoping to make a profit.

The actor's massive French estate is up for sale.

Depp shared the beautiful property with former girlfriend of 14 years, Vanessa Paradis and it's where they raised their two kids, Lily-Rose and Jack.

The main house is 4,300 square feet and includes an art studio where Johnny used to paint.

But that's where the ordinary parts of the house ends.

The 37 acre estate feels like a small town. It's found on the French riviera in Le Plan-De-La-Tour and features more than a dozen buildings.

This includes two swimming pools, a Pirates of the Caribbean themed wine cave, a skate park, a gym, a church remodeled into a guest house and a garage - all of which are made to look like local businesses.

There's even a restaurant, although it's not open to members of the public, instead Depp and his family used it as a dining room!

The property is listed for sale at $40 million (£32.1 million) and it was on sale last year before his divorce from Heard, but it was later pulled off the market.

It was relisted this week with a $14 million price hike, having only been up for sale for $26 million (£20.9 million) in 2015.
