Get your wallets ready! Actress Gwyneth Paltrow is holding her company Goop's annual Celebrity Closet Sale.

The event allows people to bid on the clothing of Gwyneth's fellow stylish famous friends.

This years' big names include, Lena Dunham, Drew Barrymore, Anne Hathaway, Jill Kargman and Rachel Zoe.

The items range from designer cocktail dresses and evening clutches to graphic t-shirts and sneakers.

The proceeds of this year's sale will go towards two charities: 'Donors Choose' is an organisation dedicated to assisting underfunded teachers and students in public schools and 'Children Rights' which is aimed at protecting abused and neglected children.

A statement on the Goop website says: "This year, our generous participants parted ways with pieces that all feel especially personal in different ways."

Items from Anne Hathaway include a Prada bag and Givenchy and Moschino dresses among other things, while Drew Barrymore has handed over two pairs of shoes, three handbags, a sweater and pair of trousers.

It's not just other celebs that have handed over prized items, Paltrow herself has also given up a few things.

The website states: "GP parted with several dresses (and one amazing jumpsuit) that have walked the red carpet, plus a pair of Jimmy Choo heels Pepper Potts wore in Iron Man 3, among other gems."
