What do Oliver Reed and Jim Davidson have in common? Apparently they share the same taste in property, because they have both lived in this amazing mansion in Surrey. It is currently on the market for £4.95 million. If the celebrity link isn't enough to pique your interest, then the stunning swimming pool might do the job - or perhaps the impressive £1 million price cut.

The Grade II, 16th century, six-bedroom property in Dorking has been spotted up for sale by Zoopla. There will be plenty of people who are intrigued to see inside the home of the legendary actor and star of Oliver! and Gladiator. There will be others who would like a look at the home Jim Davidson lived in until he declared himself bankrupt in 2006. The property doesn't disappoint.

It boasts six bedrooms in the main property, and two more in a separate cottage. From the outside, it is a charming period property with impressive grounds and an ornamental lake. Inside, however, it's an unexpected mixture of the ancient and the modern. There are enormous fireplaces, an ancient wooden staircase, and beams across the ceilings.

Upstairs, the ancient property comes into its own, with huge wooden windows and stunning beams.

However instead of the small original rooms, the property has been opened up, so there's an enormous reception room, entrance hall and kitchen - with all the entertainment space you might want. The renovation has also included adding acres of bright white - from the walls to the shiny floors in the main reception room.

But perhaps the star of the show is the indoor pool, once part of an outbuilding, and now cleverly attached to the main property, and featuring its own gym and sauna.

The property isn't currency being lived in, which suggests the owner is keen to sell. It first went on the market in August last year, and earlier this month had the price cut from £6 million to £4.95 million.

But what do you think? Would you want to live there? Let us know in the comments.
