Glastonbury 2015: So far so sunny - but will it last?
Glastonbury Festival 2015 has opened its gates and festival goers have been flocking in their droves to bag a good camping spot today (Wednesday).
Tens of thousands of people poured into Worthy Farm in Somerset armed with tents, blow-up mattresses, wellies and wheelbarrows of alcohol.
Many of them had arrived overnight to be sure to be among the first in at the gates.
While the main stages do not open until Friday, many smaller venues put on live music, DJs and films for those arriving early.
Some 177,000 people are expected site during the weekend. Tickets which cost £225 each, sold out in just 26 minutes last October.
The sun shone on the music fans as they queued patiently to enter the site and pitch their tents.
This year's headliners are chart-topping singer Florence and the Machine, US rapper Kanye West and rock legends The Who.
Luckily for them, the weather is not expected to be as bad as 2014, when performances were halted due to a lightning storm.
According to BBC Weather, there will be some light showers on Friday morning and on Sunday but it should remain dry for the rest of the time.
