Lily Allen says she is "grateful to be alive" after being involved in a caravan gas explosion at Glastonbury.

The singer suffered minor burn injuries in the incident at the festival site in Somerset.

She took to Instagram to share pics of her injuries and warn others about the dangers of cooking on gas stoves.

She wrote: "I was in a gas explosion in my caravan today and I have minor burns and synged my eyelashes considerably," the star explained.

"It was absolutely terrifying and I wouldn't want anyone to go through anything similar.

"Please be SO careful using gas stoves at anytime but especially during festival season when ones reaction times may be a little off.

"Feeling very grateful to be alive. Happy camping."

Lily has arrived in Somerset a few days before Glastonbury kicks off on Wednesday.

She's been keeping fans up-to-date with her antics and her surroundings, showing off pics of her retro caravan.
